Privacy Policy.

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] ("Santori," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit [WEBSITE URL] (the "Website"), contact us, book a discovery call, call or text us, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Website or contacting us, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our Discovery Call form or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

  • Contact information: your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Business information: your business name, business type, and what you would like help with.
  • Text messaging consent: whether you checked the box agreeing to receive text messages, along with the date and time of that choice.
  • Messages and scheduling details: anything you include in emails, text messages, or form submissions, and the details you provide when booking a call.

Call and text records

When you call or text us, our phone and messaging providers create records that we may store, such as your phone number, the date, time, and duration of the call, whether the call was answered or missed, any voicemail you leave, and the content of text messages exchanged with us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website, our website hosting provider and other service providers may automatically collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring web page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information may be collected using cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies. Some of these technologies are needed for the Website and its forms to work. Others help us understand how the Website is used.

Information from clients

If you are a client, we may receive additional information during our engagement. That information is handled under your written agreement with us (see Section 6).

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule and hold discovery calls.
  • Communicate with you by email, phone, and, if you agree, text message about your inquiry and our related services.
  • Reply to calls we were unable to answer.
  • Provide, manage, and improve our services and the Website.
  • Keep records of our communications with you and of your communication preferences, including opt-outs.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Website, our systems, and our business, and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. Text messaging (SMS)

How you join. You can agree to receive text messages from Santori by checking the optional text messaging consent box on our Discovery Call form and providing your mobile number. The box is not checked by default, and providing a phone number is optional. If you call our business number and we are unable to answer, we may send a text message to the number you called from in reply to your call.

What we send. Messages relate to your inquiry, your discovery call, and our related services, such as replies, scheduling, and reminders.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.

Opting out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also reply CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE. After you opt out, we will send one message confirming your request, and you will not receive further text messages from us unless you opt in again.

Help. Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] or [CONTACT PHONE].

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to request a discovery call or to buy any service from us.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile information. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The information-sharing practices in Section 4 do not include text messaging opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver our messages (such as our messaging provider) and as required by law.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers. We use third-party service providers (website hosting, CRM, scheduling, and messaging providers) and other vendors that help us run our business, such as email providers. They may access information only as needed to perform services for us.
  • Professional advisers. We may share information with our lawyers, accountants, and other advisers as needed.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, legal process, or a government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Santori, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your permission.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and your choices

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. If you do, some parts of the Website, including forms, may not work properly. Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for how to respond to these signals, the Website does not currently respond to them.

6. Information we handle for our clients

When we build or run systems for our clients, such as missed-call text-back, lead follow-up, booking, or review requests, we may process information about our clients' own customers and leads on our clients' behalf. In that case, we act on the client's instructions, the client's own privacy policy governs how that information is used, and our handling of it is governed by our agreement with that client. If you are a customer of one of our clients and have questions about your information, please contact that business directly.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to you, provide our services, maintain business records, honor your opt-out choices, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it de-identified.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No website, internet transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and choices

  • Email: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email or by contacting us.
  • Text messages: Reply STOP to opt out at any time (see Section 3).
  • Access, correction, and deletion: You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us as described below. We may need to keep certain information when the law requires or allows it, such as a record of your opt-out request.

10. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, you may have some or all of the following rights, where those laws apply:

  • Right to know and access: to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to.
  • Right to correct: to request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to delete: to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to opt out: to opt out of the sale of personal information, "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
  • Right to appeal: if we decline your request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response.

Categories of information. In the past 12 months, we may have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1: identifiers and contact information (such as name, email address, phone number, and IP address), commercial and professional information (such as business name, business type, and your inquiry), internet and network activity (such as Website usage data), and audio and electronic information (such as voicemails, call records, and text messages). We collect this information from you, from your device, and from our service providers, for the purposes described in Section 2, and we disclose it to the categories of recipients described in Section 4.

How to make a request. Email us at [CONTACT EMAIL] or call us at [CONTACT PHONE]. We will need to verify your identity before responding, which may include confirming information we already have about you. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

11. Children's privacy

The Website and our services are intended for adults and businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party websites and services

The Website may link to or include features from third-party websites and services, such as scheduling tools or social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Website after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy.
